Statement of Faith

Statement of Faith

1. The Authority of Scripture

Bible Icon

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the sole authority for faith and practice.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 — “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching... that the man of God may be complete.”

We reject: any teaching or tradition that contradicts or overrides Scripture.

2. The Triune God

Trinity Icon

God is one in essence, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power and glory.

Matthew 28:19 — “...baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

3. The Lord Jesus Christ

Jesus Icon

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, sinless, crucified, risen, and returning in power.

John 1:1,14 — “In the beginning was the Word... and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

4. Salvation by Grace through Faith

Cross Icon

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Genuine saving faith results in obedience and transformation.

Ephesians 2:8–9 — “For by grace you have been saved through faith... not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

We affirm: Lordship Salvation — true faith surrenders to Christ as Lord.

5. The Work of the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit Icon

The Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, empowers, convicts, and sanctifies all believers.

John 16:13 — “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth...”

6. The Church

Church Icon

The universal Church is the body of Christ, called to make disciples. Elders and pastors must be biblically qualified men.

1 Timothy 2:12 — “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man...”

We reject: women in pastoral or authoritative teaching roles over men.

7. Heaven, Hell, and the Afterlife

Afterlife Icon

After death, believers are consciously with Christ. Unbelievers await eternal judgment. Hell is eternal; the soul is never annihilated or asleep.

Philippians 1:23 — “My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.”

We reject: soul sleep and annihilationism.

8. The Return of Christ

Return Icon

Jesus will return visibly and bodily after the Great Tribulation. The rapture and second coming are one event. The Church must be prepared to endure.

Matthew 24:29–31 — “Immediately after the tribulation... they will see the Son of Man coming... and He will send out His angels... to gather His elect.”

We affirm: Post-Tribulation rapture.
We reject: Pre-tribulation or mid-tribulation rapture teachings.
